Peach Crumble

Serves 8-10


  • 8 cups peaches, peeled, pits removed and sliced
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 TBSP all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 cup butter, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Place the sliced peaches in a 9x13 inch pan. Mix the white sugar, 1 TBSP flour and ground cinnamon together, and sprinkle over peaches. Pour water evenly over peaches.
  3. Combine the oats, 2 cups flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and melted butter together. Crumble evenly over the peach mixture.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
Note: I often make this recipes with apples.  Any type of fruit could be substituted!
