Quick Kitchen Prep Techniques: Slicing or Dicing Boneless Skinless Chicken |

- Freeze the chicken: While this may sound counterintuitive, freezing the chicken for about 30 minutes makes it slightly more firm and therefore much easier to slice.
- Cut the chicken: Lay the breast completely flat on a polypropylene cutting board. Cut four to five long strips lengthwise. Turn the breast strips 90 degrees and cut pieces to desired size.
- Season the chicken: Season the chicken after cutting allowing for more exposed surface area and therefore more seasoning and flavor. Season liberally with salt and pepper. I also like to use garlic powder, but that’s up to you and your recipe!
