BBQ Chicken Dip
BBQ Chicken Dip
 Serves a Crowd

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 chicken breasts, cooked and diced (or 2 6 oz cans of chicken)
  • 1 TBSP +1 tsp red onion
  • 1 1/2 cups BBQ sauce
  • 6 oz shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 TBSP chopped green onion

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Spread soften cream cheese evenly into the bottom of a baking dish.  I used 9 by 9, but any size would work.  (The smaller the dish, the thicker the dip, the longer the cook time.) Layer rest of the ingredients in the following order: chicken, 1 TBSP red onion, BBQ sauce and cheese.
  3. Bake in oven for 15-20 minutes or until cheese melts and begins to bubble around the edges.

  5. Garnish with 1 tsp red onion and chopped green onions.  Serve with baked pita chips.
