Clean Eating Slow Cooker Chicken and Apples |
Ingredients
- ½ cup apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 cup chicken stock (make sure to check ingredients, get one without added sugar)
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 TBSP raw honey
- 2 apples, chopped (any variety suggested: gala or honey crisp)
- 2 Vidalia onions, chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ TBSP rosemary, chopped
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- (optional step) Transfer liquid to a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes to reduce liquid and produce a thicker sauce. Serve over brown rice.
