Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 1 pound asparagus (look for thin ones when shopping)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. 
  2. Trim about 2 inches (or where they naturally break) off the ends of the asparagus. Spread out on a cookie sheet in a single layer. Drizzle with olive oil and toss with fingers to coat. Sprinkle with salt and garlic powder. 
  3. Bake in oven for 7 minutes, tossing once at 4 minutes.
