Light Agave Margarita from Top Ate on Your Plate |
Ingredients
- 2 TBSP lime juice
- 2 TBSP agave syrup (nectar)
- 1/4 cup tequila blanco
- 2 lime wedges
- kosher salt
Directions
- Combine lime juice, agave syrup and tequila in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice and shake thoroughly.
- Pour salt into a small dish or cocktail dimmer like this one. Run one lime around desired glass. Dip the rim of glass into salt.
- Pour shaken margarita into class and garnish with other lime slice.
Note: We often use Ripe Agave Cocktail Mixer in place of the lime juice and agave syrup. We think it's just as good as the real thing and saves so much time! We feel good about buying this local product as well.
