Crunchy Pumpkin Dessert from Top Ate on Your Plate |
Serves 10-12
Ingredients
- Non-stick spray
- 1 15 oz can pure pumpkin
- 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 package of yellow cake mix
- ¾ cup chopped peacans
- 1 cup of butter, melted
- Whipped topping (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 13x9x2 glass dish with non-stick spray.
- Combine pumpkin, evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, pumpkin pie spice and salt in a medium mixing bowl. Transfer into sprayed baking dish. Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over pumpkin mixture. Top with pecans. Pour melted butter over top evenly.
- Bake in preheated oven for 50-55 minutes. Cool completely, refrigerate and serve cold with whipped cream, if desired.
